Today we started learning how to solve a system of equations by using elimination, which means we get rid of a variable. We can eliminate a variable by adding or subtracting the equations together. If the variables have opposite coefficients then we add the equations together. If the variables have the same coefficients then we subtract the equations together. The UNIT 4 test is on Friday, December 16th. Below are some music videos to help you review systems of equations.

Today we learned how to solve a system of equations by graphing the equations. The solution of a system of equations is the ordered pair that names the point of intersection where the lines cross. Here are some notes.
